Easy to install

The first step is to remove the original cover from your key. It must be removed before the new cover is installed.
After you have removed your old cover Once you have removed the old cover, use an flat-head screwdriver to take out the four major attachment clips located on the side that is on the passenger side of the fob assembly. These are marked with red on the picture below. Also note the locating tab slots, which are yellow, that require disengagement as well.
After removing the battery, replace it with a brand new 3 volt coin cell battery. The "+" side of the battery should face the opening on the fob and the "-" side should face the rubber buttons.
Reattach the passenger side mirror cover by aligning the tabs that locate it. After you have completed this, insert the driver side fob back in your car and test it by pressing the push button on the front of the car key. If everything works correctly, your car should activate the parking lights and your doors will lock automatically.
